| April 21 at 4pm -- Reuben Smith operates Tumblehome Boatshop across from the Hudson River in Warrensburg, NY. In this talk with slideshow, Smith describes the restoration of a matched pair of 1926 racing sailboats called the Sound Inter Club that are historic to Long Island Sound and Lake George. A 2-year project requiring the participation of dozens of artisans from across New England, this historic boat restoration truly exemplifies the "it takes a village" proverb. | |
